Temporary Floor Protection
The right floor protection solutions conveniently keep floors safe from damage. There are all sorts of options for different needs, and below, you’ll find some of the most common and effective FLOORGARD® and STIXX® products you can count on to get the job done:
Corry Board for impact resistance
Floorgard Corry Board is excellent at protecting floors from impact-related damage during work. This is achieved through its twin-walled corrugated plastic design that features two layers separated by ribbed patterns. This gap absorbs impact and lessens the force on the floor, making it effective for accidents, like when a hammer slips.
Carpet films against paint and spills
STIXX Carpet Protective Film is just what you need if you’re looking for a way to keep your carpets free from paints, solvents, and dirt. This self-adhesive, low-tack film does a great job of maintaining the fibres as good as new. It saves you the hassle of cleaning up after a renovation or DIY project, such as painting! Just apply it with firm pressure, and it leaves no residue upon removal.
Tuffcard for a low-cost alternative
Tuffcard is a thicker floor card compared to regular builder’s paper and offers affordable temporary floor protection. This product protects flooring from scratches and light debris during painting, installing new fixtures, or making repairs. It’s perfect for DIY home or office improvement projects.
Scaffold Protection
Our SAFEGARD® scaffold protection solutions include products designed to effective debris containment and fall prevention. Below are some options trusted by scaffolders and builders to maintain a safe work environment at heights:
Scaffold sheeting
Our range of high-quality scaffold sheeting is the go-to for professionals who need dependable, high-performance site containment solutions. Unlike ordinary sheeting, our products offer a stronger, better-priced alternative. The high-quality material and two rows of eyelet holes keep it secure in high winds and outlasoutlast other brands.
Choose CLASSIC for low-level, short-term use, PLUS for a premium upgrade, and PRO for demanding, high-level tasks. Fire-retardant, Warringtonfire-certified variants for each category are also available. These products have been tested and approved to prevent fire spread.
Debris netting
Our selection of quality safety nets is tested and proven to catch rubble, scraps, and even workers from heights. Made from UV-stabilised knitted high-density polyethylene, they’re designed to withstand higher wind loads while offering superior strength and shock absorption.
Also available in CLASSIC, PLUS, and FR variants. Upgrade to TS62-certified FR version for improved worksite safety and minimised fire hazards.
Anti-fall harness
Our fall arrest harness provides a dependable means of protection against fall-related risks. It features a combination of adjustable webbing, straps, and buckles that are designed for strength and durability. The fall arrest harness connects to an immovable anchor point via a fall restraint or fall arrest lanyard. When worn correctly, it ensures the wearer is secure in the event of a fall.
Personal Protective Equipment
PPE is one of the first lines of defence in construction, and our reliable MAINGARD® safety equipment pieces help minimise the risks and hazards workers face. This includes:
Hard hats for head protection
We offer two types of hard hats: peaked and micro-peaked. Both feature a rigid outer shell that distributes the force of impact, with an inner foam layer that compresses impact to further absorb the force before it reaches the wearer’s head.
The peaked hard hat features a visor for extra face protection, while the micro-peaked hard hat has compact peak and and is lighter.
Safety glassesfor the eyes
See the difference with our lightweight wrap-around safety glasses! These glasses feature CE-certified, impact-resistant frames for reliable protection. Soft arm tips and a rubber nose bridge provide added comfort, while the anti-scratch and anti-fog coating ensures long-lasting durability and clarity.
Note: CE certification means the glasses meet the EU's safety, health, and environmental protection standards.
Heavy-duty coveralls paired with high-visibility vest
Our heavy-duty coveralls are designed to reduce snags on safety rails or scaffolding. They feature a two-way zip front with a storm flap, elasticated cuffs, ankles, waist, and hood for secure protection. Made from 2000-gauge, non-woven, breathable material, they’re available in both reusable and disposable options.
Pairing these coveralls with our high-visibility vest increases visibility in low-light conditions. The vest includes a Class 2 Velcro closure and meets EN ISO 20471 standards.

Fire Safety Protection
Don’t let the fire take over your construction! Invest in our trusted BLAIZGARD® fire protection products and manage ignition hazards, including:
Fire alarm systems
Our alarm systems quickly detect smoke, heat, or carbon monoxide, giving early warnings to keep everyone safe. They come in the form of heat detectors or smoke detectors. Heat detectors respond to high temperatures, while smoke detectors catch smoke particles early.
Another type is the ‘break glass’ alarm, like the Site Master - Break Glass. A glass element in a glass-faced box triggers the alarm and activates emergency fire safety systems when broken.
Fire extinguishers
We offer the three most common fire extinguishers available – all kitemarked to BS EN3:
- (Class A) Fire Extinguisher - Water extinguishers: Used for putting out fires in cloth, wood, rubber, paper, and plastic materials.
- (Class B) Fire Extinguisher - Foam extinguishers: Designed for fires involving flammable liquids, such as gasoline, oil, and oil-based paints.
- (Class C) Fire Extinguisher - Powder extinguishers: Recommended for electrical fires, such as wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and appliances. Class C fire extinguishers can also be used for Class A and Class B fires.
Our fire extinguishers are tested for reliability and performance, ensuring they’ll do their job when you need them most.
