What is Ratchet Strap?
Ratchet strap is made from heavy-duty polyester, giving you a secure hold with no load shifting during transit or storage. It can handle heavy loads in a much safer and more effective approach than standard ropes. It’s good for securing equipment, machinery, or other bulky items.
Material
Polyester is a synthetic fibre with high tensile strength and low stretch that gives the strap a dependable base material.
KEY FEATURES
- Break force: The strap carries a break force of 6000 kg, a rating that ensures it can support demanding applications.
- Tear and wear-resistant: The heavy-duty webbing resists surface damage from friction and stress and maintains its strength during handling.
Good for:
- Securing heavy or bulky items and items that may be difficult to tie down
BENEFITS
- Reduced risk of load damage: This ratchet strap holds loads more securely than regular rope. Once tightened, it gives added control during fastening and transport.
- Fast load tightening and release: You can tighten and release it fast with the ratchet strap mechanism without tying knots.
OTHER GENERAL NAMES
Ratchet tie down, ratchet lashing, ratchet webbing, or tensioning strap.

FAQ
Can ratchet straps be adjusted for different load sizes?
Yes, ratchet straps are fully adjustable. The ratchet mechanism allows you to feed through as much or as little webbing as you need and then tighten it to secure loads of different shapes and sizes.
How do I release a ratchet strap after use?
To release a ratchet strap, pull the release lever on the ratchet mechanism. This will disengage the teeth holding the strap. Once the lever is pressed fully, the webbing can be pulled free without force.
