What is Bubble Wrap?

Bubble Wrap features small air-filled bubbles that absorb impact and cushion against shocks and scratches. It’s good for protecting surfaces, packing delicate items during storage or transit, and adding an extra layer of padding where needed.

This bubble wrap can be used multiple times as long as the bubbles remain unpopped.

Material

LDPE material forms durable air-filled bubbles that create a soft but protective layer.

KEY FEATURES

  • Air pockets: Each small bubble traps air in a sealed pocket that spreads impact across the surface for better protection.

Good for:

  • General wrapping puposes

  • Wrapping fragile items

  • Protecting surfaces and handles

BENEFITS

  • Multi-purpose protection: Bubble wrap has an adaptable function that fits many uses across packing, storing, and shipping, keeping fragile or bulky items cushioned and damage-free.

  • Reuse-friendly: Bubble wrap stays useful for more than one round of packing as long as the bubbles are still firm and the sheet is intact.

OTHER GENERAL NAMES

Bubble pack, air bubble packing, bubble wrapping, or aeroplast.

FAQ

Does bubble wrap provide insulation?

It offers some insulation because of the trapped air pockets, but it shouldn’t be used as a replacement for proper thermal insulation.

What’s the difference between large and small bubbles?

Large bubbles are used for heavier or bulky objects that need more impact protection, while small bubbles are better for light or delicate items.
