Event mesh is suitable for event specialists because it installs fast. It can be rolled out and fixed to posts or stakes, then tensioned and left in place. If layouts change, it can be adjusted, which helps save time on larger sites.
Wind and sun cover
Wind is a factor at most outdoor events, especially in spring. With the mesh netting permeability, air passes through the material instead of hitting a solid surface, which reduces wind pressure on the setup without causing it to shift or lift.
The woven structure can also reduce direct sunlight and glare and provide partial shade.
Temporary backdrop

Maintain tension to avoid flapping: Start fixing from one corner and work across the frame. Re-check after initial installation.
Match mesh density to wind exposure level: Higher density mesh (e.g., 80-90%) reduces visibility more but also increases wind load. In exposed sites, break up long runs or combine with lower-density sections where full screening isn’t required.
Always consider the site direction of the prevailing wind, not just general exposure: Open fields can take direct crosswinds; coastal venues face strong onshore winds, and sites between buildings or structures can create wind tunnels.
Avoid over-reliance in extreme weather: The mesh is not a storm barrier. The risk isn’t just tearing but also load transfer to the structure it is attached to.
