FAQ
What’s the difference between a shrink gun and a shrink torch?
A shrink gun gives steady, even heat for large areas of shrink wrap. In contrast, a shrink torch has a stronger, focused flame better suited for detailed work or tighter spots.
On what surface should I avoid using a shrink torch nearby?
Shrink torches produce an open flame, so avoid using them near flammable surfaces like dry timber, painted finishes, exposed insulation, or loose plastic materials that aren’t heat-resistant.
