What is Clear Internal Safety Film?
Clear Internal Safety Film is made for glass protection and tested to BS 6206 for impact resistance. It’s permanently bonded to the inside surface of glazing after installation.
The film is non-reflective with a UV-resistant coating, helping to reduce sun damage without affecting visibility. It adds an extra layer of safety without changing the look of the glass.
KEY FEATURES
Impact: Designed to remain bonded to the glazing after accidental impact so the film continues to support the glass surface if breakage occurs.
UV resistance: Resists UV exposure to help maintain the film during long-term use on internal glazing.
Compliance: Tested to BS 6206 to demonstrate impact performance for safety glazing applications under the recognised British Standard.
Good for:
Home and office windows
Ground floor shop doors and glazed entrances
Bespoke glass panels and internal glazed partitions
School corridors, classrooms, and gym changing rooms
BENEFITS
Peace of mind: Clear Internal Safety Film helps create a safer environment in areas where accidental glass breakage is a concern.
Lower replacement: Clear Internal Safety Film offers a cost-effective alternative to replacing existing glazing with safety glass in many retrofit projects.
