What is Floorgard FR Corry Board?
Our best-selling Floorgard® Corry Board Sheet also comes with a fire-retardant (FR) variant. This upgrade is LPS 1207-certified under the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and meets the British Standard (BS) 2782 for material testing.
Similar to its non-FR variant, it’s designed with a corrugated twin-wall structure for dependable protection against impact damage, heavy foot traffic, and more.
KEY FEATURES
- Fire-retardant: Tested and certified to LPS 1207 by the LPCB and approved to BS 2782 fire safety standards.
- Material: Made from light build polypropylene with a double-layer ribbed structure that creates a buffer between your floor and what goes on top.
- Lightweight: Available in 2mm, 3mm, 4and 4mm. The thicker the board, the better the cushioning effect is—without the added bulk.
- Impact-resistant: The core design absorbs and reduces pressure on the floor. It takes knocks from a dropped hammer, heavy foot traffic, and scratches from dragging materials.
- Versatile: The coverage extends to floors and finished surfaces, including walls. Fits stairs, countertops, and pillars by cutting, curving, or creasing the board as needed.
Good for:
- Protecting floors from impact and other damages
- Covering large floor areas
- Increased brand visibility on site
BENEFITS
- Fire protection: The fire-resistant design of FR Floorgard Corry Board slows down flame spread in case of sparks or a fire outbreak, while staying compliant with UK fire safety standards.
- No costly fixes: Using Corry Board saves you on expensive remedial work by protecting your flooring and surfaces from damage and fire-related risks throughout the project.
- Built for trade: Floorgard Corry Board is trusted by builders and contractors across the UK and Ireland during construction, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
