What is Custom Print Fire Retardant Corry Board Sheet?
Custom Print Floorgard® Corry Board Sheet is available in a fire-retardant (FR) variant, manufactured to meet BS EN ISO 11925-2:2020 and BS EN 13501-1:2018 fire safety standards. Similar to its non-FR type, it features a corrugated twin-wall structure for dependable protection against impact damage, heavy foot traffic, and more.
The board can be custom printed with logos, branding, and project-specific information for use on site.
Material
Made from light build polypropylene with a double-layer ribbed structure that creates a buffer between your floor and what goes on top.
KEY FEATURES
Fire-retardant: Designed for fire-retardant performance to recognised safety standards.
Board thickness: Available in 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm. The thicker the board, the better the cushioning effect is without the added bulk.
Versatile: The coverage extends to floors and finished surfaces, including walls. Fits stairs, countertops, and pillars by cutting, curving, or creasing the board as needed.
Impact-resistant: The core design absorbs and reduces pressure on the floor. It takes knocks from a dropped hammer, heavy foot traffic, and scratches from dragging materials.
BENEFITS
Trusted by trade: Floorgard Corry Board is trusted by builders and contractors across the UK and Ireland during construction, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
Reduced costly repairs: Using Floorgard FR Corry Board Sheet (BSEN) saves you on expensive remedial work by protecting your flooring and surfaces from damage and fire-related risks throughout the project.
Fire safety protection: The fire-resistant design of Floorgard FR Corry Board Sheet (BS EN) helps slow the spread of flames in the event of sparks or a fire outbreak, while remaining compliant with UK BS EN safety standards.
OTHER GENERAL NAMES
FR corrugated plastic board, FR corrugated plastic, FR corrugated polypropylene, or genericised as FR correx board but not related to the said brand.

FAQ
Does Floorgard FR Corry Board Sheet stop fire?
No, it doesn’t stop fire completely or make surfaces fireproof. Instead, it reduces ignition risk and slow flame spread, as well as improves fire safety performance on site when exposed to heat or sparks.
Does custom printing affect the fire-retardant properties of the board?
No. The fire performance applies to the finished product specification, including the printed surface, where it has been manufactured and tested to the relevant fire standard.
