What is Safegard® CLASSIC FR Scaffold Sheeting?
Safegard® CLASSIC Scaffold Sheeting is certified by Warringtonfire to TS62. These fireproofing additives improve the sheeting’s performance in fire-risk environments, keeping the spread of fire under control. It’s made from co-polymer LDPE, a material that offers reliable coverage at low levels where wind risk is minimal. Suitable for short-term projects.
KEY FEATURES
- Material: The classic variant is built from co-polymer LDPE for improved flexibility and durability of the scaffold sheeting.
- Fire-retardant: Tested to TS62 by Warringtonfire (equivalent to LPS1215), this sheeting includes fire-retardant additives that help slow down flame spread on site.
- Strength: Although designed for short-term use, it outperforms standard brands in the market in pull strength and tensile strength.
- Eyelet holes: It has two unique rows of eyelet holes that keep it secure in low-to-moderate wind conditions vs. one hole from other brands.
