What is Barrier Tape?
Barrier tape is a standard, non-adhesive tape suitable for cordoning off restricted areas and directing foot traffic. Perfect for temporary marking, it can be tied and stretched around posts or cones to create boundaries.
Available in bright colours, it ensures warnings or hazards are clearly communicated to anyone nearby, even from a distance.
Material
The tape is made from HD polythene, a high-density plastic with a strong structure, low stretch, and a lightweight form.
KEY FEATURES
- Non-adhesive: The tape has no adhesive backing, and it can be tied to posts, fences, or other fixed points.
- Visibility: Available in black and yellow or red and white chevron that are highly visible. Such colours make the tape easy to spot even from a distance.
Good for:
- Cordoning of areas of danger and hazard
BENEFITS
- Ready for next use: Barrier tape is easy to remove or reposition without leaving any residue, and it can be applied again in another location without losing its effectiveness.
- Grab and go when needed: This barrier tape comes in a box dispenser that makes it easy to carry, store, and use on site.
OTHER GENERAL NAMES
Warning tape, hazard tape, safety tape, caution tape, barricade tape, or marking tape.
